BOARD COMMITTEES
The AHCI Board of Directors has three committees that focus on various areas of operation. These committees include: the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Quality Improvement Committee.

• The Executive Committee includes the officers of the Board and the Chairs of the Finance and Quality Improvement Committees. This Committee acts for the Board of Directors between Board meetings, reviews Board policies and procedures and action items prior to Board meetings, and serves as the personnel committee for the Board.
• The Finance Committee reviews AHCI's operating and capital budgets, reviews contracts, monitors the fiscal operations of Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (CCBHO) in relation to the HealthChoices program, reviews HealthChoices financial reports prior to their submission to Allegheny County and the Department of Public Welfare (DPW), and reviews fiscal audit findings.
• The Quality Improvement Committee reviews the results of both CCBHO's and AHCI's Monitoring Plan activities, and reviews a variety of reports prepared by AHCI’s Quality Improvement and Evaluation staff.
