The Public Benefits Trainer/Technical Assistance Specialist at Allegheny HealthChoices, Inc. will support behavioral health provider agencies throughout Allegheny County by providing training and ongoing technical assistance related to the variety of public benefits and work incentive programs available to mental health consumers. The individual will also be responsible for providing oversight and technical assistance for the County’s SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery) project, including supporting SOAR-trained staff, managing the application submission process and serving as the liaison between providers and local and state agencies.
