Bridging Our Communities: Closing the Gaps with Recovery and Resiliency

The 2009 Recovery Conference will be held November 2-4, 2009 at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center. This year's theme is "Bridging Our Communities: Closing the Gaps with Recovery and Resiliency" and will bring together more than 500 persons with mental illness, their families, advocates, provider staff and other community members from across the southwestern Pennsylvania region.

The conference aims to help people learn how to successfully navigate between the different "systems" we encounter besides mental health: education, employment, physical health, and so on. This year, we are reaching out beyond adults with mental illness to include transition-age youth, older adults and families with children in the system.
